Interesting Tri-Power

that interesting, looks like a non-offy tri setup. Too bad its for the small log, I'd almost part with the 500 just because it's different.

I'd seen that, but hadn't looked closely :hmmm: The script reminds me of clifford stuff...did clifford ever make their own tri-power mani?

If you bring up the second to the last pic and mouse over the image for a close-up, it says Holley Carburetion Co. on the casting. And the last pic clearly shows the markings: Falcon 145.

Hey Ludwig, that's the carb stamp right?...where have I seen that "Falcon 145" before :?:

There are three ranks of pics on the listing. Look a little more carefully at the three smalls you see. There is a roller handle (or whatever you call the roll n' drag thing on the side). You have to scroll down to the bottom, bring uo the one that has all three carbys from above. Roll yer mouse over the pic and you will see the casting letters on the bracket itself, not the carbs

That's the early version with the coolant passage. I've got an old photo laying around somewhere, I believe it is an Offy and/or Edelbrock piece (I've had intakes identical to the Offy except with Edelbrock branding, not certain which came first).

Never seen one where you drilled the log for outside carbs. Then again, I'm not a Tri-Carb guy. I imagine a sealing gasket would be hard to find.

All the tripowers are like that. You have to drill the log. Actually, the gasket isn't hard. After I blew the first one out, I just went to the local hardware store and matched a new o-ring to the same size. Cost me $1 I think.
