i know addo, xecute, discokin ect are still areound, any evidence of dylan?

i bet no one can figure out who this is!!!!

Nope, got me. Dylan is studying, isn't he? What was it, Buddism or computers...whatever, all to do with feeding the machine!

 Let me guess

:hmmm: Uncle Ben? Joip, CortinaD ...if I keep dropping names, will you give us a clue?

Clue 1 ..............its not me, i'll put my money on RogueS

Joip

All for rum? It's super mugen! You been on the corn?

Dylan is slogging it out in second year uni. He's found it tough going compared to the first 12 months. Yes, the S-Pac is still running.

He occasionally drops in, but as I said, he's been trying to make ends meet and scrape through life - you know how it gets.

Adam.

addo's on the money, a "certain perth based rum drinker" (quote), the rest of you are way off,

uni this year has been absolute hell, same as dylan, hard to make ends meet, but applied for a part time job on wednesday assembling ag machinery, new hollands, inters and johnnys, hope i get it!!, uni just became a bit slacker, so i can devote time to beer, rum, and thirsty cars, now what did i leave out?

as for the rest keep guessing!!

whats the deal? have the site become mugen friendly (no offence)? following a reasonable hammering?

yes i finally got my ute, XF, ice white, chromies, cd, ac ,ps, 5spd, 250X (my favrit motor, although i have been slandering saying i wouldn't mind a v8, but have seen the light, and remebered the potential of the beaut motor), and has had the back window slapped with stickers, spottys and i have a set of cummins mud flaps to put on it, and clearance lights, (just need the switch adn wire,
the 2.92 makes it a bit slow in town but is very good on highway at 1 dollar fifty, with surprisingly little road noise, and doesnt slow down much on bigger hills, even in 5th

cheers all

haha. this dude is oldschool. Good to see you went the XF man, I got me one of them too.. except its got a roof over the back. Still got a nice 'cargo area' in the back, but :D

I've seen Dylan on the streets a few times, but haven't been able to pin the bloke down myself..

yeah i tottered on the edge between holden and ford following the timing chain incident and a later hi speed collision witha roo on the way to work one morning, poor old XE road over the top of the roo at around 130 and destroyed bonnet, bumper, headlights, new radiatior, clutch fan, water pump, front end alignment and alternator, ouch, but 350 bucks and a heap of second hand bits got it back on the road, until i sold it , with a serious front end drift

He he he. All ready set up for hitting another 'roo.

Gotta love it!

Now you gotta get a Transit, a XA-XC Ute or a Bronco or F150. They enjoy taking out roo's, and you can pick up the remains and start a pet food company...like the guy who sang "Bad Habbits".

Welcome home boy. Like Fords winning at Bathurst and Le Mans, sometimes its an awfully long time between drinks!

Hey Pat, how's it going? Are you still in the Student housing? It's been a prety good year so far, I haven't been broken into once yet! But I think that's because the trend is shifting from breakings to car-jackings....lol.

But hi everyone, I'm still around, I'll never catch up on the reading though...lol.

XECUTE, it's more likely the water here, apparently we have the 3rd worst water quality out of all the states....lol....but we still beat Adelaide!

Well Cheers fellas,
Dylan

dylan, howya goin hows uni orright?
nah im not in student housing any more, am living in bentley. got my ute finally, a white XF , i think i may have passed you at the manning/leach highway intersection the other, i was waiting to turn onto manning, and you were going onto leach.

uni is pretty dull, and the others may be pleased to know i have decided to stick it out and not run off to the army, but am swapping from geology to mining geology and will probably go to WASM at Kal next year, things are a bit more practical and less theory there

should try bently water, you can even taste salt through ya coffee.

lol, I thought you'd have to eventually wind up with a ute, after looking at that XE, and looking to fix that WB.

It was probably me on that intersection too, as I always go home that way...well it was me if the driver had a bad 70's haircut, and glasses...lol. Was that last week though? I would have been the only car turning, and you would have had your window open, and wearing a cap, and been somewhere near the end of your turning lane....if that was you, nice ute! I was actually admireing that ute while I was sitting there....lol. It's pretty straight isn't it?

WASM hey? I've got a mate going there next year. Kalgoolie is cool though, theres near nothing out there apart from the pubs, brothles and mine. But there are plenty of spaces to practice your circle work. The other course that is pretty good is geo-physics, as you would probably have most of the core units for that does already. But those guys earn quite a bit, plus it would be pretty interesting.

And your right about the bently water though, i'm surprised that stuff is legal...no wonder water is cheap....lol.

Well, see you around.

Stick with GEOLOGY. Or metalurgy, or Earth Science.

I've worked with 'rock badgers' before, and they are very good value. Spent almost two years at the Aussie owned opencast gold mine in Otago. Lots of pit techs with geo degrees and it was fun. All my site investigation conventions are based on Geomechanical guidelines and std geological conventions. So where as most project managers at the roading company where I work are just interested in slapping roads together while dreaming they were off in Bali building runnways, I'm right into unified soil classification indexes and rock forming processes. Poor auditors wounder how my company can afford the geological reports I produce, but its all stollen teachings from you Uni studentd who just didn't realise how much they taught me! They ask me if I have a liecence to practice this stuff. Kewl man!
Keep training your minds fellas. Got make up for brain cell death form bad water!

Geology, Pat. It's got the best of everything. Lots of evolutionary dogma (depends if you can parrot back the theories like you believ it or not), and heaps of serious science from spider stuffers who can't find there car keys but who could give you the chystaline structure of orthoclase or feldspar at the drop of a hat.

Great fun!

Oh, and there is something in the water down here. Silver, you are right. Must be cynaide leachate from the flotation tailings dams. Reckless Raping Raiders of Rock looking for gold must have polluted mother earth, and driven me over the edge.

yeah XECUTE the earth history is good for arguments against weird religions, and its great fun to stir them up about the formation of the earth and stuff.

all our profs are total eccentrics and will either be the type that sit and have a few coldies with the students and join in on the wild nature that is typical to the geo student, and involves sculling, rolling rocks off cliffs or G PICK golf, which is more like hammer hurling . the other types have huge afros and are absorbed in the work 24 7 and are nuts about it.

im sure looking forward to kal, lots of booze and brothels,

by the way Dylan i think it was you at those lights, your self description matches, therefore it was last week, and i was pretty close to the turnoff point there, and i think you were the only car waiting to turn on to Leach, i like your stone flectors and rims, when i drive i normally wear a battered old hat, people seem not too come too close to me then!!!

talking of evolution, give me a couple of months and my special edition dunlop racing slicks will have evolved for summer!!!

Love evolution. Don't agree with it, but Keith Richards and Stevie Tyler prove that Rock evolved from apes....it's been a stumbling block to my faith ever since. One of the guys on the highway maintenace crew has a vast reportiere of dirty jockes and hooker stories. He worked in the mines there and had some interesting R&R persuits.

It's a different world there. All I can say is you dudes in WA are the least politically correct people around, and it's an asset. People in Kiwi land have no gutts or viewpoints because there scared of uppsetting someone. Commin face to face wih a crock in a watering hole, or hitting a big old snake on the road is just life for you guys. I'd be emptying me bladder in seconds. Brissy's Cane Toads were enough to scare me.

As for tyres, I've tried cutting down my old retreads with a pen-knife. Tyres should be made of rock or wood. No wear. And Amish carts should have 250's and shelias driving with ape-hangers.

Gee, I need an ealry night. I'm either sleep deprived or trippin'...

yes ive heard a interesting one about a transsexual who works a certain brothel, and was quoted in the local rag to have said that its interesting to do it with blokes who heshe used to play footy with.... uuughgh
