Is there a market for old original gas tanks?

I have a 1965 mustang, 200 ci and have replaced the gas tank. Not sure if anyone would like this or if there is a market for my old one? It is original but rusty inside and out.

If you find that market let me know. I have the same thing! I saved every original part for many years. As it turned out, few people care much about originality in Mustangs anymore.

I bought one used fuel tank and will never do it again. I think most people assume that once it's bad enough to replace, it's too far gone to save

I have an extra trash can with my old tank in it along with the old exhaust, brake and fuel lines and will be adding the tired leaf springs today. Once the can is full, I'll drive it over to the scrap yard. It's a quick in and out and provides a small return on my investment.

I used to joke that with all the bad original parts I'd kept, eventually I'd have a whole car! Of course, nothing on it would work, but in today's market I bet it would sell!
