EEC4 paper
This appears to be a pretty comprehensive paper on EEC4 functionality if one wished to reverse engineer hardware and code to make a PnP ECM or something to conenct to the J3 connector like a quarterhorse. This is several thousand feet above my head, but it makes me think a piggyback speeduino-like device via the J3 connector could be developed. J3 connected and programmed with Tuner Studio or a complete PnP speeduino unit.
Or this is all water long under the bridge and there's nothing new to see here.
