Langdon's 32/36 Weber setup heated intake question

Why do they say that heating the intake is required? http://www.langdonsstovebolt.com/tech/w ... -manifold/

Was looking to get the Weber swap going but this was unexpected. I could find nothing similar on the CI site.

The way they explained it to me was that it was to prevent fuel from condensing on the intake manifold. Well, that's my understanding of how they explained it I have their adapter on the stock manifold with the weber 32/36, and it came heated so I didn't mess with it.
