Just picked this one up today. I think I will polish the Ford emblem a little more, but I´m happy. If you can´t tell, it´s a 2 piece - less time pulling and replacing the cover, no more buying valve cover gaskets all the time, and more rocker clearance.

You got all the toys, dude!

Now if I only had a job so I could afford to put them all together... oh wait, I don´t even have a car to put them in yet.... oh wait, I don´t even know when I´ll be home.... ***Sigh***

Evan, I picked it up at a little place here in Bs As who make race parts for the 6cyl Falcons, Novas, and Torinos.

Alex, they have nice parts... expen$ive, but nice... And it´s in one hell-hole-dump of a ¨barrio¨. My girlfriend nearly killed me when we got there for dragging her along.

John, At least you have a girlfriend.
Vary nice looking piece, the valve cover that is, (never met the lady) but how do you add oil and where is the PCV grommet?
Are they tall enough for roller rockers?
Are they cast aluminum or pressed sheet?
Are you planning to import them?
Inquiring minds want to know

Don,

Excellent questions. Both pieces are cast aluminum and have plenty of room for roller rockers. This piece was originally designed for TC. TC engines use a dry sump oiling system. For the street, there is a breather canister/oil fill that installs on the fuel pump flange (I have a pic somewhere). The other option is to pop the freeze plug out of the ¨road draft¨ tube fitting in the block. Or you could always just drill a hole in the valve cover.

As far as exporting to the states, a small group purshase would cut shipping costs down (they aren´t really heavy) if a few people would be interested.

Does the cover fit the stock 200 and 250 cyl head or just the fancy head it is show on?
Doug

That's funny ! I think is requiered for ALL latin american countries to have their parts-shops in the worse places.....

That's sure true in the Latin American city where I live... Sun Valley, Pacoima, East LA ....

john, the valve cover looks great. But where is the pcv hole & where is the oil fill tube????
Get some of the above & the valve cover might be of interest.
