Matching nos.?

I got me a 65 Mustang fatback that has a inline 200 6 in it. looks like it all original. How can I match up all the nos? where can I find all the casting nos.? fixing to pull the engine out and have it rebuilt just want to make sure its a matching nos. car, pls help. I saw the nos. of the block and for sure its a 1965 but is there more nos that will show that it belongs to this car, or to the vin nos.? Need to know where to look pls help.
