Melted Engine mount!

Hello! I was recently looking for the source of the vibration on the antique and discovered that the exhaust side engine mount had partially melted! There is only a small clearance between the collector for cylinders 1,2,3 and the mount has melted in the spot closest. They were changed when I built the new motor (25000 km ago). They are 'Kelpro' brand. The engine is an efi crossflow in an XE. Can anyone suggest a heatshield or maybe a tougher mount (genuine part??) to prevent this happening again.

What headers are you running?

I'm in the market for headers for the XF. If there's a clearance problem with yours maybe I should avoid them.
