I just went thru a bunch of parts catalogs and it seems like a few companies are selling motorcraft 1100 carb's that by their description sounds like their just like the pony carb setup including the prices any body seen or heard this one before? if so what's your take on it all,,,, reason I'm asking as I have a carb from pony that I bought from them 4-5 years ago and it seems to have issues and rebuilding just can't fix

any ideas/sugestions ? thanks

They probably buy them from Pony ( although I never will ) , no 1brl is worth 400+ dollars , if you try and order I bet they will be out of stock and if so , you just saved big bucks , I see thier postings and shake my head , PT Barnum said it best , find a reputable rebuilder and get a good core , you will spend under 250.

I ran a pony 1100 for a few years. Was very impressed with it.

However, I picked it up used for $150. I agree, no 1V is worth $400. It just wasn't that much of a performance improvement. I think it would be better to get a 1V-2V adaptor and get a 2100 for that price range.

The only time I'd recommend a Pony 1V for $400 is if you wanted a concours looking car, with a little more performance for driving.

ok if not a motor craft carb what other one,,,( carter ,,holley etc ) would work for me,,,, 6 popper,, manual tranny , automatic choke, no ac, regululater gas pedal set setup,, ( not cable) heat tube for choke as well as gas pedal linkage on the pasenger side, fuel intake on the front of carb

thanks for help/info
