greetings,
just lucked into a nearly new holley 2 bbl and adapter plate from a jeep 6 cyl. for my oz-2v head. the gent i got it from just got the jeep for his wife and was snatching the inline6 and going to the "dark side" (SB chevy kit from the internet).
he doesn't know what carb it is,(it was put on to sell the jeep and he had just bought the jeep) so how can i tell just what i have? i washed off a number from the side of casting by the choke butterfly that was ink stamped. it was "33". looked to be an assembly or inspection stamp to me, but that was the only number i could see. could not find any other info or tags to get info from. can someone give me a hand with where to look? thanks.

You will find the model number on the front of the carb stamped on the choke tower which holds the choke plate.
It should be a four digit number example 1850 is a 600 cfm 4 bbl.
4779 is a 750 cfm 4bbl.
There also could be a 4 digit number followed by a dash and then a number.
I have a Holley book and I can tell you what carb if have when you find the number.

The 32/36 DGV is also popular with the inline six Jeep. Is it a progresive 2bbl with the primary on the right and large square air horns?

thanks for the search info jturcic.
took another squint(with my glasses on) and found these right where you said they would be and are as follows:
7448-1
3028
66200i6,
this isn't one of the progressive models. i may be looking for one of those later on after the car is up and running. have been watching the posts trying to learn more.
this is the holley replacement for the 2100 autolite style carb. the carb and plate fit perfectly on the oz-2v intake. looks like all i may need to do for throttle to hook up is change the 6cyl. throttle assy for a v8 one and adjust the rod length.
looks too easy for a project of mine.... time will tell.

Old Man,

I've got one of those, Holley P/N 0-7448. It's a good match for the 250 2V head.
It's a 350 CFM Two Barrel, Model 2300. Go here for more info: (edit post: It's the first one listed under Universal)

Interesting to hear that the adapter plate from a Jeep works, I got mine from down under.

ragtopman,
thanks for the info and thanks to all who weighed in on this. this was the holley i hoped for. :D i got an adapter plate with my head too. looks nice and will do the same job as this one, but this adapter plate looks like a "stock" part. 8) the adapter plate finish looks like the finish on the spacer plates that are used under the 4bbls, and the spacer under the 1100s used on the inlines.
i had planned on using the old carter 2bbl carb from a 318 that i pulled off my truck when i went to a 4bbl. the flange for it is a direct fit to the oz-2v intake. was gonna have a tough time with the choke though. this holley and adapter is the better solution i think. at least i know this carb works and i won't have to engineer quite so much to get it running when it all gets stuffed into the car.
the jeep inline flange was the same as the 318, so i gave the gent my old carb so he could at least keep a complete engine to sell. also keep the field mice out of the intake runners. the linkage for choke was easy to engineer for it too.
