I've got mine on the way...MUHAHAHAHAHA!
Keebler~

1971 Maverick 200 IL6, C4, with working Factory A/C.

I'm looking to do the same thing. I have a 1978 200(big log). I want to use 3 Holley 1908's with Glass bowl covers. I don't see an adapter for the big log. Do they make one?

i'm not sure... these are the only ones I have found on the subject...

my '80 Ford fairmont cracked the head in 10 different places when my wife drove my kid to the Hospital back in '98 and I went to a '63 170 head for the late model engine.... Runs great now, but my next project is is the '71 maverick with the 3x1's.

My goal.... Stock 1971 200 L6 block, Offy 3x1 Intake adapter, Transgo Shift Kit, B&M ProMatic shifter, 3.73 gears. the rest will be stock for now. Later I will look for a higher RPM Stall Converter and Comp cam.... About as cheap as I can go right now... and still get better performance than stock.

Thinkin' about it now.... The kit really should work for the later model heads as well. Your Hole diameter that you'll have to drill would be the same as for the older heads... The gaskets seal off the gap regardless. But I could be wrong too... the log is the same length just a lil larger around in diameter.

Anyone else have an idea or experience with that?
