All Small Six Offenhauser triple manifold for a 1969 log head question

Hey guys
I’m after some info on what type of offenhauser triple manifold 5205 or 5970 will suit this 1969 head (C9DE-6099-M).
Their catalog says that the 5205 will suit a 60-69 log head and that the 5970 will suit a 70 up. But to me this log manifold looks like it’s the larger flat top type and need the 5970 offenhauser manifold.
Did ford change mid 69 and is that what is throwing me out?

You want the 5970, they are off a year. there is no way that the 5205 the one for the small log will fit.
I made my own so I could make the opening the same as the carb that I started out using 1-7/16''.

Awesome thanks drag-200 for the info. Do you know if the C9DE-6099-M cylinder head is from a 250 engine? Or did they make them for both 200 and 250

Yes, the head changed in mid-69, and I believe it's the same head for 200s and 250s. There was a big-log head with smaller combustion chambers for the 170, but I don't recall which years.

You are welcome, When the 250 came out a larger log and a larger combustion chamber was needed, 62cc up from 52cc, both the 200 and 250 got the same head. At the same time the 170 got the same large log but with 52cc. chambers.
PS the head number, the last 9 is a 0

Great Info thanks Drag-200 and Tricksix. The head is on a 1965 200 engine from a Mustang so it looks like it’s been rebuilt at some time. It has these numbers stamped on the front of the head. I’m guessing that the 63 maybe be 63cc but I’m not sure what the 120 or 96 denotes. Or it maybe 6120 and 3-96? Mean anything to you guys ? I’m hoping the last time it was rebuilt it may have a some form of street cam.

There is no cc #. Looks like to me who rebuilt it, the job # and the date of such rebuild.
