OZ head in a 65 stang - wich monte carlo bar?

i was able to get an OZ head on ebay - but until it arrives i'll make some plans on which other parts to buy.

as my car - a 65 mustang - is not yet equipped with a monte carlo bar i was wondering which will fit best. the straight one, the curved one or the one with the special bend for the 6 cylinder?

i know that cobrasix went the way of the tower brace kit, but this is a little too expensive in my opinion...

everything is too expensive.....in my opinion

I have a straight bar. the curved are for the 8's

you can get them from NPD too, mine is going to need cut and welded to go around my carburetors. im also working on boxing in my 'export braces', im going to weld it today.

well, this gives me some good hints where to look

if a straight one fits the head and the carb, the only reason to go with the curved one would be because it looks cool - as can be seen here:

i would think a straight one works better, seems like a curved one would flex more.
