Howdy. I am in Montgomery, AL and have plans for a mild 200 in an early Falcon. Hardly anyone left alive around here knows much about the Ford small sixes, let alone where to find a rebuildable one, or blocks, heads, etc.. Any members near central Alabama have good sources they want to share?? I have been collecting a few parts on e-bay, but basically need everything. A complete rebuildable motor from 77-80 would be ideal.
 
If you're not dead set on a 200 I might be able to help. I'll have a rebuildable 250 within the week. Comes from a 1969 Mustang. I'm putting a rebuilt 250 in mine so I'll have an extra (less valve cover, oil pan, and timing cover) that you can have if you're willing to drive to Cary, NC. Given gas prices it might be cheaper to buy one at a local salvage yard though....

Go to the posts on the ebay section here and look at the most recent one by Whitepony...It looks like a nice completely rebuilt 200 in Jacksonville Florida.
 
Thanks, darwin. That does look like a good deal, with all the stuff that goes with it. I put it on my watch list.
