ok so here is the plan and what i have for it so far.
i bought an efi 300 from an 89 ford van. with it i got the complete engine bay wiring harness and the computer (anybody want to buy a computer)
i want to rebuild the engine and put it in my 1977 F250 but instead of the stock computer i want to use a meggasquirt (ive been looking at the ms1) but i want to keep the vaccume advance dissy
i am contimplating a turbo setup when i do it for just that little bit more kick.
so now to the question part.
does anybody have any experiance with the meggasquirt computers?
how much boost would i want for this to be a milt mannored truck used mostly for towing?
what compression ratio and cam should i go for to have it run properly as a turbo setup?
would it be better to just keep it naturaly aspirated for what i want to do?
i have been reserching the megga squirt for a couple of weeks and think i can do as i am planning based on the info i have obtained so far. any help or ideas are muchly appreciated.
thanks
jeremy
