I have a line on a positraction 3.08 rear end out of a 67 V8. Its a make offer deal and was in a running great 67 that has done wholesale to go from a coupe to a fastback Eleanor. I basically got upper and lower arms, sway bar and disk fronts. He put in a rack and pinion front end on it. Unbelievable work done. So this rear end is available. With a high performance rebuild on the way. What do I need to question about it. Is it a good fit. They are at the same business that will be doing all the suspension upgrades. As it is now in my 2.83 has to machine the axles to go to 5 lug disk brakes. I have hit the motherland of parts at great prices. Right now I'm offering $600. What do you think.

From the picture you have 65/66 mustang. The 67 rear end will not be a direct fit. You will need to roll the fenders and find the correct offset wheels and its too wide.

Talked to Curry a rear end company. It will fit1 inch more on each side. Talked to American tire a 3.25 off set wheel will work. Im going to try the wheels he had on it first then buy a correct wheel to fit while they work on the front end.
