1 pushrod failed at the tip and the worst part is I have no idea where the fragments went...obviously. Except for one chunk that was pressed into the "cup" area where the pushrod mates with the rocker arm...
3 others showed what looked like small "dents" around the tips of all 3 pushrods (again, where it mates with the rocker arms)
The pushrods I bought from Clifford some years ago. They measure 9 11/16". The one that failed measures 9 5/8"... 1/16" or possibly a little more from the looks of the picture. www.fungusworks.com/TheShow/html/engine.html
