will it make any difference on a stock 200ci?

i'm thinking about pluming it to the fender for cold air...or pluming it to the rad support or under the bumper.

its on a 66 falcon..dont know what year the engine is.. the only mods are duraspark I with a accel super stock coil.

BTW i want to use the stock air cleaner.

thanks

colder air is always better. go to home depot, get a hole saw and some tubing that is the right size to fit over the 'snout' on the air cleaner.

Something like this, hmmm? Got the hose at a speed shop and fabbed the collector from a pipe flashing for a roof. Cost maybe $25.00. It really does make a difference at speed -- but nothing at idle or launch.

Yes, of course it'll make a difference, albeit a very small one.
You might get a more noticeable effect if you swap the metal air cleaner housing for one made from plastic.

most polymers have way better thermal isolation properties than *ahem* metal.

Maybe build a fibreglass duplicate of your existing stock air cleaner housing, that'd get you a full 100 points in my book.
