Replacing my carburetor 1 bbl by a 2 bbl

that air cleaner is awesome!

it looks like your intake has the 1 3/4" hole, while your adapter has the 1 1/2? if so, i would take it off and open it up.

Very good point ... and very good sight.
They are not good photos(i got them from Clifford) ... adapter is the right one.

Thank you very much :D :D :D

Yes, very nice work on the air cleaner.
And thanks for documenting the job and making the website to share it with us.
Wish my French was a little better, it looks like you've got some great information there.

Very good work. :D

Take a look at this Sticky for reference: http://fordsix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=49901

The bar across the top of the carburetor will interfere with airflow. Try something like this: _/------\_. You don't want anything blocking the airflow. Not a good image, but the idea is to raise that center bolt to the height of the filter.

Google translations are usually not the best, your English is better.  You have an electric "choke," not "starter" on the carb. The hose "to the valve cover" would be to your PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) Valve. I had to drill and install a fitting in my adapter.

Nice work!

I'd trim that air cleaner hold-down strap so it doesn't interfere with the airflow - other than that it's looking good!

Thank you for your help in the translation BIGREDRASA.
I thought about another fixing system for the air filter for not blocking the airflow.
I post more photos soon.
Good day :hmmm:

Hello BIGREDRASA,
I changed my fixation for the air filter, following your recommendations.
Do you think it is better now ? :?:  :?:
