Somebody please help me find some Holley parts

I'm in the process of rebuilding a Holley 1904 carb to stick on the 200cid in my Comet. I'm running an automatic and would like to add a dashpot and the associated screws, lever, spring etc to my carb. I've been having a hard time finding these parts and wondered if anyone had some floating around. I'm willing to pay and will even purchase an entire (reasonably priced) carb if need be.
Thanks.

I would think there would also be some drilling of passages required. Are you having a stalling problem? I have messed with several 1100's and so far none of the dashpots were working properly and they dont seem to have any issues.

I don't currently have any stalling problems (car isn't road ready yet.) Almost everything I've read about the 1100 is negative, while almost everything I've read about the 1904 has been positive. I needed to rebuild my 1100 anyway so I figured that I'd just build a 1904 instead. I have several to work with. One of them already has the the mounting points and hole drilled for the dashpot so I figured it wouldn't be too bad to add one. I'll mainly be driving in stop and go accelerate, then slam on the brakes type traffic so I figured that adding a dashpot would be a good idea. My car is too heavy for me to push by myself, so I'd like to eliminate or at least drastically reduce the risk of stalling out.

I looked in my parts bin of 1904s and don't have one. Look on ebay for old 1904s and one that might have a dashpot. I see a few junkers go for less than 10 bucks.

My experience has been that the float level on 1904s are a pain to set, but with a glass bowl it's real simple trial and error process. Also, the Autolites tend to idle smoother.

A good place for rebuild kits is Mac's for the 1904; they go for around $25.

Good luck,

I'd rethink using the 1904, they're a good bit smaller than the 1100, and an 1100 isn't all that bad a carb (and likely better at mixing than a 1904 as well).

If you've got to rebuild one either way you go, I'd stick with the 1100.
