You didn’t say what year your car is. If your car is a 1966 200 that might be the correct one. ?
If your car is a 1965 200 that isn’t the one that goes on a 65.
Look at this one.
There is a difference in the pump shaft that rides the cam lobe.
This is a 65 fuel pump.
If you remove the old one you will be able to see the shaft.
In a well ventilated area:
Using common sense it is a safe process.
Remove all the fittings from the pump and then remove the 2 bolts from the block.
Use a bucket to catch spilt fuel. Remove and dispose fuel. Take rags and clean areas that fuel spilt on.
The area will dry quickly.
Then replace with the new pump..
Note: if it is leaking only around the filter gasket then you only need a new filter and gasket that comes with the new filter. Fold a paper towel down to about 1” and wrap it around the filter where it screws into the pump and secure it with tape or rubber band. Start engine for a second or 2: shut off engine and see if your paper towel is wet.
If dry replace pump, if wet and below is dry replace filter and gasket..
Good luck..
PS: if you really want a safe condition, then a Halon fire extinguisher is a good tool to always have around..
