Starter register diameter needed.

I don't know if any of you guys know the answer to this one but...

What is the register diameter of our starters? 4.083" ?

Also, does the gear protrude .62" past the mouting surface?

I am checking out some starters that have mutiple clock positions which should fit all of our applications but need this info.
