Stuck Damper Screw - Help...

I can't get my damper screw loose- I soaked it in Liquid Wrench, and even snapped my socket adapter on my breaker bar while attempting to loosen it. Must be rusted tight. Any suggestions?
Thanks-

Impact does it. Far more reliable than a long bar and mucho (macho?) leverage. I just use a steel headed hammer of about 3 pounds and whack repeatedly, as abruptly as can. Make sure the socket is fully engaged.

I use the starter to break them. Put a breaker bar and socket on the nut. Rest the bar on the left frame rail. Then bump the starter. It will break loose right away.

And just to be on the safe side while doing this, disconnect the coil wire.
