Just pulled my Paxton Supercharger apart, it had started making noise (Used Ebay) so I pulled it,
here are pictures of it apart for any of you interested!
Looks like parts for a complete rebuild are about $455.00 and If rebuild
by Paxton parts and labor is $750.00.

I'm just displaying the first picture, click on the links below
to see all the inside parts to one of these superchargers!

So, what is the problem? Has it sucked some grit? It looks as though a seal has deteriorated in one photo. The ATF is clean.

Well all the bearings seam good, the unit was leaking so there was a bad seal too! But the real problem is in the first picture that show the shaft and ball bearings, there is a 1/2" x 1" scored section where the balls revolve around the shaft. I called Paradise Wheels (they are now the lessened dealer) and they are on vacation till 2/21 of this month? The inside of the unit was clean, no dirt but there were very small metal shavings. This is the first time I have every attempted a rebuild on anything like this making boost, so I find myself in new territory and can't even name all the parts   But that's what the WWW is for 8) Naturally it was easy to take apart  but will be a little more effort getting all parts in there correct order (that's why I took pictures) with seals and shims.
