TWIN CARB JETTING

i'M GOING TO A 2- 1BBL. SETUP ON MY 1955 223 FORD, USING 2 HOLLEY 1904 CARBS,1 STOCK, THE OTHER OFF OF A '58 FORD.
wHAT JETS SHOULD i START WITH AND HOW DO i TUNE THEM? DO i LOOK AT THE SPARK PLUGS FOR COLOR? WHAT COLOR, LIGHT BROWN,TAN,DARK BROWN?
aNYONE WHO'S GONE THROUGH THIS PROCESS, PLEASE RESPOND!!!

Once it is running correct (timing, fuel mixture, etc...), make a run at WOT, shut it down, don't idle for too long, and check the plugs for color. You'll want a light brown to tan (black--too rich, white--too lean). Good luck.

You'll need a magnifying glass to see deep down inside the plug.
