Just for grins and giggles I have been toying with the idea of seeing about getting a twin turbo manifold made, say two 3 tube header to a T25 turbo flange.
I agree that it would cost more, be more complicated, and not offer any serious performance benefit over a properly sized single turbo setup.
The only reason to run twin turbos would be for the "Piece de resistance" of my Whiskey Tango Foxtrot turbo inline six install in a Fox body Mustang.
I was thinking the same setup I have going now but with a pair of T25 turbos wastegated at 12psi and running out 2.5" pipes. Instead of one cat and two mufflers I was thinking running two high flow 3" inlet cats and no mufflers.
