upgrades need some info

O.K, I am preparing for some upgrades to my 66 mustang 200 3 speed coupe. First i am adding an oz head, headers cam etc. the whole package offered by azcoupe great parts thanks again Mike. Also going to go w/ a t-5 tranny swap w/ cable linkage (not purchased yet). Now for the questions. I plan to upgrade breaks at some point and go to a 5 lug pattern which will allow me to add torque thrust 2 wheels. But was planning that for next year. I was planning to use a t-5 from a 4 cyl mustang for the swap. But I believe if i upgrade brakes to a 5 lug i will also have to upgrade to a 8' rear. If i do this would it then be necessary to go w/ a t-5 from a v-8? If so this would make it so i would have to upgrade the brakes before adding the t-5. Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am attempting to get my plan together to attack this project. Thanks Mark

to get 5-lugs, you can get adapters, but i'd go through with doing it when you did the brakes

and no, you will not need a V8 T5 for an 8" rear-end
you will however need to get a new driveshaft, or get yours cut down
