I took pictures under hood when I tore everything apart but they weren't backed up before my hard drive crashed! I know the larger port on the vacuum cannister goes to a vacuum source but where does the smaller port connect to? I'm begining to think it is somewhere inside the car. Any help is as always, greatly appreciated!!!! :D

Good attempt! I found that also but it is missing the vacuum cannister. That diagram is just for the engine which may confirm my suspicion that the other hose goes inside the car. Ford had a vacuum line booklet. Go figure! :D

Oh yeah, the cannister (duh- didnt notice that in the first post). If I remember right, yes I believe that does go in the car- it should be your vacuum source (resevoir) to operate the vacuum motors under the dash. I never did get mine to work. I thnk the repro book that I got from NPD actually that may have a a portion for under-dash. And I think its hiding out somewhere in a bin in the garage...

Ya got the juices flowing and I went out and looked in my NPD catolouge (great illustrations!) to no avail. I figured out where the canister connects, now I'm stuck on the heater control valve. I called Classic Auto Air and they are actually going to FAX a copy of the vacuum diagram. That is what I call customer service! We need to get together so I can take a look at your Steeds.

yeah, should be better without rain tomorrow. Also got a buddy in my unit with a 66 and a 200.
And that is great customer service! Did you actually have a fax machine to receive it on? By the way, when I saiid the thing about NPD, i meant that they SOLD vac diagrams (for like $7 i think). I do beleive mine was running round somewhere here, because I had neither classic mustang here yet I had the vac diagram with me
