Interesting site, thank you for posting. IIRC Michael May, who is one of the principles of that firm, was involved in head work on the Jag V12 in the early 1980s. Jag got these engines to work on crap gas with an 11.5:1 comp ratio and very crude electronics, and got 260+ horsepower. Anything he says about heads, IMO, is worth listening to.
One bit of the article echoes some of the comments a lot of the savvier posters have made in these forums - it's not the quantity of airflow, it's the quality.
