that crinkled paint finish can be achieved by using VHT "black wrinkle paint".
Some time ago, while waiting for my NPD order to arrive, I got so incredibly bored that I took a standard Mr-Gasket-chrome air cleaner, masked off the centre and the outer ring and bombed everything black with that wrinkle paint. Looked awesome, just like camera case finish, only better. Sold that air cleaner eventually at ebay ´cause I´m into original appearane...

So, if there is no cluster bezel available with that black wrinkled finish, you could possibly add this crinkle finish with the product mentioned above.

Be careful Harrie....

some of those units are like mine...

This one was from Mustangs Plus in California... it uses Hanline gauges and they come in either white face or black... but the bezel is plastic on the outside and brushed stainless backing... it was around 495.00 and you are paying for the gauges... they also sell a Billet Aluminum bezel that you can put these gauges into... but that costs another 400.00.... (I would bet you could buy the gauge kit and cut your own bezel? Sounds like a project to me... I have not seen one that includes both the bezel and the gauges...)

I really love mine, and I would recommend it, but I am also planning on getting an aluminum bezel someday... right now this works fine and looks great, but I would like the thicker aluminum style like the one in your pic.

(Where is the Chevytown anyways? Gotta have a good heckler here who has enough gutts to drive a GM in-liner. He must have dashed off for somethin'. Wince please Evil Muffin!)

i do believe Texas Thunder hit the nail on the head, check this out, different guages, but looks the same

doh!

To convert from mechanical @ tranny to electric @ dash, there is a $30-40 adapter.

The other way around? :?:

That is JMEs gauges. They are a San Diego company. We are a dealer for them. We were the sole distributor for them when they started out. I have a set in my car, they are awesome. The bezel is one piece CNC billet aluminum. I since then installed rose wood inserts on the guages and glovebox, and installed a matching clock on the glovebox face. Then, I purchased a Leccara wood steering wheel, and striped it and stained it to match. You can buy just the bezel or complete. The shop that I work for is JMC Motorsports:
