What happened to the fuel injection forum?

Cuz I gots a question hometowns!

I just received the new chip for the ECM. Howell leaned it out in the lower RPM's only. I was running farely(sp) rich. (should be saving a bit at the pump too porque prices are ridiculous in this town!!! And now with it being leaned out a bit, I'll have to run 91 for sure)

What should I expect as far as launching the truck @ part throttle/WOT? I recall when I had the Holley 390...whenever I was at a freeway stop light and punched it to get on...it would either backfire, stumble or take off like a cheap party! I was told because at WOT, the other two jets kick in, thus flooding the engine.

The old chip launched the 3600# truck descent. Leaning it out should help Ima guessin'.

sounds about right from what you're saying. i own a 88 ranger with a 2.3L 2bbl carb and if you got to WOT from standing(or even moving at certain speeds) the engine will studder because of the over flow of gas in the little 4cyl. anyway im only 17, mabye it's my thinking maybe it's my driving :lol:

plus leaning out the fuel can't really be all that bad considering the gas prices, even if you lose a little power
 
is there already a complete home build efi setup for the 200ci ?
why not a new efi topic ?

i,m planning to gone do some fits and test with the opel omega inline 6 cyl - 3.0 liter k jettronic feul injection system, attaching to the 200 ci ,did buy me the complete set [ is still in the car , must get it out by myself , but thats good , so i now i,m getting al the parts , car is still runnig ]
did learn alot in this forum , i,m ready and feeling right on it to do some fits to the 200 ci , i,m just gone try and see witch trouble i get into , better try and see how things work out then always dreaming of it ! 8)

I can't believe the difference amigos!

I have been messing with timing since yesterday (after I screwed up the sequence of the dizzy spark plugs a few days ago...I had to find the new #1 terminal :roll:)

Well, it must have been a blessing because it forced me to mess with the timing and it likes it advanced some... :D So long I have waited for today. Finally, this 3600# truck hauls!
