What polish material should I use for iron?

I am planning ahead for when I cleanup, polish, and balance my connecting rods. I have a die grinder, a Dremel, and a cordless drill (last resort) I would like to use the die grinder. What bits would you folks recommend? Any specific material? Depending on how time consuming it is, I may go ahead and polish other items of the same material. P.s. it is a 20,000 rpm grinder.

I use a flap wheel like this after you bead blast it start with an 80 grit then go to a 120 grit. You really don't want to remove a lot of metal just sorta blend it.

what, your getting a see through block?
I used the flapper wheel then the black brick polish the shine the iron master cylinder.

I'm just looking to blend it, as vann said, not get a shiny polish.
