I have the following Weber cores: 36/36 DFAV, 32/36 DGV5A, 32/36 DGAV (and also a 32DIR37 (both bores are 32 mm dia.)) that I bought as a lot off of eBay several years ago in order to rebuild one and to put on my Falcon. Are all of these Weber or are any of them the Holley/Weber - how does one tell the difference? Which one would be the best candidate for rebuild (discounting that some are elect choke while others are manual choke)? What is the funtional difference between the Holley/Weber and a Weber? Which one is easier to tune (I have some tuning experience with the tripple Weber sidedrafts on my Triumph but no tuning experience with the progressive 2bbl downflow carbs).
A couple of links to the 32DIR37 (note it is missing the choke as m and other than a solinoid, I do not see how the choke is activated). Also the body of the carb has 23 & 24 cast into it while the other three have 26 & 26 cast into them. I suspect that this is the venturi diameter but I have not tried to confirm that.

I need to order a rebuild kit so that I can work on the carb change over the winter - the snow will be falling here within a few weeks and once they salt the roads, this car is parked untill spring.
