Which Vac outlet on my Carb for my DSII

I put a Carter YF (from a 79 Granada 250) on my 65 stang 200. I am about to convert to DS II. My question- there is a vac outlet on the drivers side of the carb and two on the passenger side. Can anyone tell me which one it might be?

You're better off taking the vacuum from the manifold and plugging the ones on the carb. Check what Mike found out during the dyno runs about ported (carb) vs. manifold vacuum:

Thanks, Thats interesting. I have plugged the ones on the carb as of now and its running great. (Unilite Mech. Advance) I plan on installing my power brake booster in about a month. Do you think I may have to get a vac canister or will the manifold port handle all of my vac needs?

It'll most likely handle it, unless you have a huge cam.

My stock 6 has a brass block with 3 vacuum ports at the side of the manifold. I have been told that this is the stock configuration. Two of these are blocked (with a rubber tube and plug). It seems to me that there is enough vacuum to go around from this point, even for power brakes.

Wierd how it shows pretty much opposite of what was always assumed but if it works it works *shrug*.

The actual Ford stock configuration would have the vacuum connected to the lower passenger side port.
