My dad and I just picked up a new heart for my 74 Maverick...I was able to get ahold of a 77 ford granada...granada has a 250 in it so im anxious to pull out my 65 200 out of my mav....my car originally had a 250 in it (going off the door tag) so it should be happy with a 250 in it again...picked up the granada for $100 and the engine appears to be really in good shape...Can't wait to throw it in

) engine is running really good...this car sat for about 5 years and fired right up with a fresh battery and gas...these engines just cant be killed lol...After getting the car home and unloading it from the trailer i drove it around my block a few times just to see what she could...much to my surprise this car had a lot of getupandgo considering it probably weighs over 4k pounds and has a 2.47 gear ratio...tranny shifted fine and the engine seemed to have little blowby...I plan on putting a Holley/Webber 2bbl carb on it as well as a different exhaust manifold(current one is cracked) and just a basic tune-up...
