If anyone is interested I am working on a circuit and other details to adapt a later (eg. EA) fuel level sensor to the older dogs. Please let me know and I will put in some effort if anyone shows interest.

pcman-if you get me some details of how the cortina beasties work (the requirements of the guage (eg voltage at full, empty, etc) and what the original sensors look like I maybe able to help.
