Hi,
exactly what type of other year models does the XE stud patten match up with

Thanks Joip

I think back to XC (including), and forward to maybe EB included. XB is different, and AU also.

Adam.

I think back to XR - you just have to watch out for the size of the spigot hole in the wheel - older cars (XB back) have a smaller hole - the wheels won't go on the later cars...

Stud pattern is the same tho'

That's (the boss and backset variations) what I was getting at. The stud PCD goes back before the Tank Fairlanes (maybe to the '30s).

I have 15inch wheels off an EF on my XE. I have also seen XE falcons with Chrysler (ie mid 70's to early 80's) wheels on them.

All VH-CM wheels fit Falcons XR to EF. Spigot is bigger on the Valiants Girling/Borgwarner hubs by a mm of two, and they make the wheels centre hub diameter bigger. It's the diff mainly which is tight, as there is a shoulder there.

Falcon rims on VH-CM's don't fit unless you give 'em a good kick in, or file the edge of the centre hub fitting. After a few months on, they are nasty to remove from Vals!
