My daughter is selling her 66 M'stang, her boyfriend(a real knucklehead!!) :devilish: removed the air pump and all the air injector plumbing and hoses. Do I have to re-install everything before it goes up for sale? or should I just send the parts along with the car to the new owner?:
Thanks for the help,
M'stangDad

The smog stuff does not need to be replaced. Cars over 25 years old are exempt (smog cert not required to transfer title), and I haven't seen a thermactor (smog pump) on a California car in a long time. The new owner may want it. So, having it available for someone wanting to restore a car to its "original" condition is a good thing. But it is NOT required.

Yea, just throw it in a box to go with the car. Anybody should be happy to have it, but also happy that they won't have to go through the trouble of removing it themselves.
