I finally found some info on a 2bbl carb that was gifted to me. It's a Carter BBD carb, commonly found on the Mopar 318, and Jeep 4.2L for many years.
From what I've seen so far, the only drawbacks are a tendency to develop vacuum leaks at the throttle shaft bushings over time, and potential to clog the idle tubes.
Has anyone toyed around with this carb on the small Ford six?
