I have a 66 mustang, that had a clogged fuel line when i bought it. I
finally finished replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel line with SS braided hose, cleaning out the gas tank, and add a new battery.
Anyway, she starts up great, smooth and no smoke. But after 3-4 mins, she starts puffing a lot of white smoke. The previous owner said that the car would over heat, because they bore out the block too much when they rebuilt it. Is that possible? I thinking/hoping it is just a head gasket. What do you guys think i should do? I was thinking a spark plug radiator test? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
