...do i need to de-shroud the valves?

they are oversized valves from classicinlines, 1.75/1.50. just looking for opinions and any advice is appreciated.

Both need to be opened up from the chamber wall.

Be careful not to get to close to the scribe line.



You need to lay down some machinist dye, place the head gasket on the head so all the bolt holes are lned up and scribe the cylinder opening so you know how much room you have to work with.

Optionally loosely bolt head to block with crank, rods, and pistons out and scribe where the cylinder walls meet the block.
