I found what I was looking for while looking at the details of the carb adaptor Mike sells. Now I need to know if it will work with the stock fuel pump, with or without a regulator, or will I need something else.

I ended up installing a regulator with my replacement stock fuel pump. It has been several years, but if I recall, my mileage was not what I thought it should be with the Weber and the T-5 transmission. I installed the regulator and picked up a couple of mpg on the highway. I think the fuel pressure was a bit high and overpowered the float at times. But I would try it without the regulator first.
