67 Fairlane Ranchero w/250 Drop-in???

Has anyone installed a 250 into a 67 Fairlane Ranchero? If so, was it a straight drop-in?
I have seen many of these lately being sold as rollers and was wondering what kind of mount setups could be used.

If it had a 200, then it should drop in.

It's a bolt in! You can modify the 200 motor mounts or try to find a set of 250 motor mounts from a '69 Falcon. I've done both. Also, T-5 and an AOD are practically bolt-ins too by using a crossmember from a C6 or 4-speed. Beauty is that '66 and up already have 8" rear ends and 5-bolt axles.

What kind of clearance up front at the radiator did you have?
Is there room for puller fan? The better ones are3 1/2" thick.

I used two small 10" puller fans in old my '66. A thin 16" pusher fits in front barely. I have yet to install the radiator in my '67 and can't remember the distance on the '66. I just ordered the hoses, I'll let you know what kind of clearance I get this weekend.

Unfortunately, I only have 3 inches between the water pump and the radiator; same goes for the grille/latch support and front of the radiator. A 16" puller barely fits if I offset it to one side as far as possible.
