Hi,
need to have the freeze plugs from the cyl head change on my mustang 200s.
What is the correct size for those plug (those 4 located between cylinders behind exhaust manifold)
i can found almost every std size in inches at my local store.
it seem s to be 1 or 1 1/16, but i would appreciate confirmation before removing the old on and find out i don't have the correct one on a sunday morning ...

regards

I have 4 and they are 1”. They are easy to remove. Use a flat-head screwdriver. Place the tip at the bottom inside rim and drive it through with a hammer. It will spin at the center contact points. Us channel locks and pull it out.

Clean the holes with 400 or 320 grit and lacquer thinner or disk brake cleaner.
I mixed a small amount of JB Weld for each plug. Thin thin coat on the head walls and a small bead around the plug. Use a socket that will fit the ID of plug and drive it home..
