Degree In Cam

Hi Echo.. doing fair been slow going. It was late last night when I whatched it so whatched it again today. I see a couple things that may be effecting the reading some if you use an old hyd. lifter pull clip and take out the inside parts (have one I welded a rod into) than theres no movement. I think the main thing though is that you need to be sure to only turn the engine in the single direction of rotation (don't back up) as like if it's running. Timing chain even if it's a brand new one is going to have some slop so you lose some of a degree or more of movement depending on that slop. Where do you want to set cam at straight up or advanced? You need some offset keys, or cam dowl, and or a mulit keyway type crank gear timing set. Hope some of that helps looks like you are moving right along on the assemblely. Take care
