I installed a Weber 32-36 and a DUI today. The DUI went very easy the carb so so. I had a hard time getting the linkage right. We made it work but it made the pedal really high and not as smooth as I would like. Still way better then what was going on but. I just wanted to know if any body has had this issue and what type of linkage you did. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

Pictures not working for me...

My linkage was very, very simple. A 1/2" piece of barstock, maybe 1/8" thick, and 2" long. Drilled a hole or 2, connected all the original stuff, and basically just extended the throttle lever arm.

I'll get an image for you tomorrow...if I can track it down.

yeah, looks like there's a lot missing to that linkage. I haven't installed a 32/36 yet, hopefully in a month or two.

The stock rod is still there and it works by puching everything up and forward. Not the best and the pedal is to hight right now. Going to work on it more tomorrow. Thanks for the post and pics. I will get a new pic when I get done with it. Car runs so much better thourgh and a little more HP.
