250-2v engine removal points?

I have everything ready to remove engine and tranny together. I have the lifting bracket on front drivers side to lift from, but no bracket in back. I have the intake off of my OZ 250-2v head. Is it safe to use the intake bolt holes at rear passenger side to lift the engine? I sure would hate to break it.

I would not lift it using the intake holes in head. Better to use a bell housing with a longer bolt

Even easier to control and safer would be to remove the head and use grade 8's in the head holes on the block.

thanks guys. i don't want to remove the head in car, so, using a bellhousing bolt is a good idea. i was also thinking of removing one of the head bolts near back of head on passenger side and get a longer grade 8 bolt to hook the chain to.

I have also done that. Except I used the rear driver side bolt with the top front exhaust bolt on mine.. using two head bolts another time.
