question about flexplate / starter for 69 mustang 250cid

Yeah should work is a zero balance. Starter two if it's the right offset.
 
Flex plates should be same as SBF as in llink. ( note it is not SFI rated if you are racing :roll: ), 250 can use any later model SBF starter and a modern 80's/90's "mini" starter (PMGR permanent magnet gear reduction) will spin easier and be lighter and smaller for same price. As noted early (60/70's?) SBF used a seperate starter for standard bellhouse/157T FW . Later were all same as" early" automatic (C4) 157T BH - nose projection is @ 3/8 or 3/4" .
