Hello all

I am re-build my engine. so I am ask many times, cause I am new on motor and all this.

I have my engine 200, 1966 and I am put a cam 260 from Cam Comp. pistons flat top 0.20.

I my questions is: I have this gasket to do the build, but I dont know the hight of this

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FEL-7916PT1/

My idea is let the deck to 0.0. (the gasket from upm ca be work for me? )

But I dont know what I can do, for it.

I need to put studs?, the valve no touch the piston face?

Thanks and sorry for my English.

I did the math here: http://www.csgnetwork.com/compcalc.html

and show it: it is right?

Enter Cylinder Bore Size: 3.7
Enter Piston Stroke Length: 3.126
Enter Head Gasket Bore Diameter: 3.750
Enter Compressed Head Gasket Thickness: 0.050
Enter Combustion Chamber Volume In CCs: 52
Enter Piston Dome Volume In CCs Negative For Dished Pistons (Use '-') 0
Enter Piston Deck Clearance Negative If ABOVE Deck (Use '-') : 0
Calculated Engine Compression Ratio: 10.02197160843063

I like to know if let the deck to 0.000 the valves will crash to piston face?

Thanks

10 -1 compression is a little high for a cast iron head unless you are planning to use hi octane gasoline, or something else (propane, ethanol, compressed natural gas).

no, I really use to dayly and something to street on race-park.

what is the recommend on CR to cast iron cylinder head ? 9.7:1 ?

anothe question before start a new Post:

you know if the main stud Ford 302 can be use to the cylinder head?

Thanks
