I have an aluminum head & intake on the way. Here are the parts I have to build the engine:
Cam - Clay Smith H-274-0-B and CI timing chain & gears
Carbs, Holley 350-2, Holley 600-4, Edelbrock 600-4.
Stock rockers, maybe adjustable
Block 250 stock, bored .040 over or I can rebuild a 250 with .030 TRW L3000F forged dish pistions.
Duel out headers.

This will be a street machine. Mostly show and a litte tire burning.

Thanks,
Rick

.

That is a 3.83 overbore on a stock 3.8" bore. That's 150 thou over, way too much for a thin wall casting that has less than 120 thou of metal at the thrust faces. 231, 350 Buick pistons won't fit, they are too big. A set of earlier 3.75" bore items from a 225 Buick V6 or 300 Buick will work better, but unless you got em, it'll be very hard to track down a set.
